To use MotorCo, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from our platform

By using MotorCo, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where misrepresentation of age or identity is discovered.

MotorCo supports the following account types, each with distinct permissions:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

MotorCo provides an inquiry system to allow potential buyers to contact sellers and dealers regarding their listings. By submitting an inquiry, you agree that your contact information (name, phone number, and/or email) may be shared with the relevant seller or dealer to facilitate a response.

You must use the inquiry system only for genuine purchase interest. The following are prohibited:

• Spam or unsolicited promotional messages
• Harassment, threats, or offensive communications
• Harvesting contact details for third-party marketing
• Fraudulent inquiries intended to obtain personal information

We may monitor inquiry communications for safety, fraud prevention, and policy compliance purposes.

Registered users may leave reviews and ratings for dealers and their listings. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and must not contain defamatory, abusive, or fabricated content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms or that are determined to be fraudulent or retaliatory.

MotorCo does not endorse or verify the accuracy of any review. Reviews represent the opinions of individual users and do not constitute advice or endorsement from MotorCo.

Dealer accounts represent registered businesses and are subject to a verification process. By registering as a dealer, you confirm that:

• All business information provided is accurate and current
• You have the authority to bind your business to these Terms
• Your business registration is valid under Sri Lankan law

Dealer team members added to an account operate under the dealer's responsibility. The account holder is responsible for ensuring all team members comply with these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke dealer status if the account is found to misrepresent business information or engage in prohibited conduct.

When using MotorCo, you must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any destructive code
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the platform
• Use automated tools to post listings or submit inquiries
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt platform performance for other users
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate access for any user who violates these acceptable use requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotorCo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We specifically disclaim responsibility for:

• The accuracy, completeness, or legality of any listing Content
• The condition, title, or roadworthiness of any vehicle listed
• The authenticity or quality of any auto part or service offered
• The conduct, identity, or reliability of any user, seller, or dealer
• Any transaction or dispute arising between users
• Losses arising from reliance on platform content or data

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to the platform or its users.

You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination, your listings will be removed and your access to the platform will cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
